Thursday XXXI (Phil 3:3-8a)
There are merits that are circumstantial and that, outwardly, may seem like advantages; for example, Paul points out several: being circumcised, a Hebrew born of Hebrews, of the tribe of Benjamin. But what is important and decisive is the experience and commitment he has made with Jesus Christ, because for him what matters most is "the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus." What do you do to know Jesus Christ?

Lord, thank You for revealing Your immense love to me.
