Sunday XXVII (Is 5:1-7)
In a very beautiful way, Isaiah compares the people of Israel to a vineyard that has been meticulously tended by its owner and from which he has not obtained what he expected, because: "He expected justice, but sees only injustice; he expected goodness, but hears the cry of the oppressed." The prophet has pointed out the injustices and the oppressed. Do you think that today God could think the same of his Church? What names do these injustices and the oppressed bear?

Lord, may we always know how to bear fruits of goodness.
